The RPS/DPS 8000 sensor
Druck's RPS/DPS 8000 pressure sensors are industrial pressure sensors that use TERPS Technology (Trench Etched Resonant Pressure Sensor). TERPS sensors have even higher accuracy and stability than piezoresistive sensors. Yet the sensor is as robust as a piezoresistive sensor, and on the outside there is not even a visible difference. In addition to analog and digital output, it is also possible to connect the sensor via USB to a phone, tablet or PC. You then do not need the cost of expensive data acquisition equipment. A Labview driver for this sensor is also available.

Application
The high accuracy and extreme stability makes this sensor ideal for applications where ultra accurate pressure measurement is essential. Examples include applications in the R&D/laboratory environment or in high- tech machinery in, for example, the semiconductor industry. The high stability means that the sensor can be used for a long time before re-calibration is required. This is ideal when the sensor is used in a remote monitoring ring system, for example for remote monitoring of (ground) water levels.
