How do these sensors work?
Are you looking for the most accurate industrial pressure sensor in the world? Who uses TERPS-technology (Trench Etched Resonant Pressure Sensor)? Then the RPS/DPS 8000 from DRUCK is the most suitable sensor. TERPS-sensors have an even higher accuracy and stability than piezoresistive sensors. Yet, the sensor is just as robust as a piezoresistive sensor and on the outside, there is no visible difference. In addition to analog and digital output, it is also possible to connect the sensor via USB to a phone, tablet or PC. In this way, you won’t have the costs of expensive data acquisition equipment. Furthermore, a Labview driver for this sensor is available.
Application
The high accuracy makes this sensor particularly suited for applications where correct pressure measurements is critical. Here you can think of applications in R&D / laboratory environments or in high-tech machines for example in the semiconductor industry.
Because of its high accuracy and stability, this sensor is also suited for applications where the sensor will be placed in remote locations, to monitor (ground)water level or if you are required to measure reliable and accurately for years.
