What is a submersible pressure sensor?
A submersible pressure sensor is a pressure sensor that can be submerged in liquid. These sensors have a high measurement accuracy and are supplied with special cables and connectors to resist the liquid it is submerged in.
As each application has its own specifics, there are many different options available. Are you looking for a submersible pressure sensor? We like to help you find the best solution.
Application
Submersible pressure sensors are often placed on the bottom of a borehole, sewer well, ballast tank or liquid tank. By measuring the pressure, the water level can be determined.
Sometimes sensors are used in a groundwater monitoring network. Especially for this application, sensors with low energy consumption have been designed, to maximize battery lifetime for these remote applications.
