What does the model 2255 liquid/gas separator do?
Do you need a separator for liquid or gas separation? There are various possibilities. Tradinco Instruments has the 2255 model in its range, which consists of two parts. A liquid/gas separator, model 8335, and a control unit to which both the reference instrument and the instrument to be tested are connected.
The gas pressure can be precisely adjusted with built-in precision needle valves. The 8335-gas separator model is also available separately. The separation instrument is often used in combination with a hydraulic deadweight tester, such as the Traqc-22 DWT.
Application
The gas pressure module, model 2255, is on one side connected to a high pressure gas cylinder. On the other side it is connected to the oil gas separator, model 8335, which is connected to, for example, a hydraulic deadweight tester.
The instrument to be tested is connected to the 2255 pressure module. A sight glass is included in the 8335 buffer. Here, the level oil can be regulated by means of the spindle pump on the deadweight tester.
The gas pressure for each test or calibration is controlled with fine control valves on the 2255 control unit. The instrument to be tested does not come into contact with the oil from the deadweight tester.
In this way you can easily and safely use a hydraulic deadweight tester.
