How does the GA2610 sensor work?
How do you measure temperatures in a pipeline without compromising hygiene? This requires a resistance thermometer with clamp-on technology. The GA2610 sensor from Labom is a PT100 temperature sensor that is equipped with a patented clamping system. This allows the sensor to be placed on the outside of a pipeline. The clamp is robust and easy to apply. The sensor itself is thermally insulated from the environment. The GA2610 can be equipped with a variety of transmitters, allowing the PT100 signal to convert to HART, IO-link, 4..20 mA or any other system.
Do you need a thermometer with a high-resolution graphic display? Then we recommend the temperature transmitter GV4610.
Applications
The clamp-on technology makes it possible to perform a reliable temperature measurement without making a connection to the pipeline or opening the pipeline up. Therefore, there is no risk of leakage or contamination of the process or the environment. The sensor is widely used in hygienic installations (biotech, pharma and food & beverage) and installations with hazardous substances. The sensor can be calibrated in a dry block with insert or in an immersion bath. The versions with SIL2 and ATEX certification are used in hydrogen systems.
