What does a dirt separator IDT 600 do?
How do you ensure that only clean, dry gas enters a calibrator/instrument? You can arrange this by using a dirt separator. The dirt separator, IDT 600, collects moist and solid particles that are harmful to the instrumentation used.
Regular use of this dirt separator prevents contamination of the pneumatic system and can lead to a considerable reduction of costs. The maximum safe working pressure is 35 bar (500 psi).
Application
This dirt separator from Druck is used in combination with a pressure calibrator. The dirt separator collects moist and solid particles that are harmful to the applied instrumentation. This dirt separator is placed between the calibrator and the instrument to be calibrated.
Use of this dirt separator prevents contamination of the pneumatic system. Unique to this design is that as a user you can visually check for moisture and dirt contamination.
