This instrument is designed to measure small leaks in products at a preset (industrial) vacuum pressure. The leak is identified by measuring flow or by measuring a pressure change in the sealed circuit.

This instrument is used for such purposes as testing vacuum grippers or leak testing of packaging or vacuum and refrigeration lines.
